Retail, property deals dominate M&A market in 2016
Hanoi (VNA) – Many big and surprising merger and acquisition (M&A) deals were made in 2016 with retail and real estate continuing to dominate this market.
Auspicious start to 2017 tourism in Vietnam
VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam’s tourism sector has got off to a positive start this new year, with familiar destinations drawing in hundreds of thousands of visitors nationwide.
“There is room to grow,” said Dominic Scriven, Ho Chi Minh City-based Chairman at Dragon Capital. “We are looking for 19 percent net growth for earnings next year,” as the economy expands and inflation remains stable, he said.

The number of foreign visitors to Vietnam is well on track to top nine million in the first 11 months, up 25.4 percent from a year ago and already surpassing the full-year 8.5 million target for 2016.
