AsiaInvest Group congratulates the success of the forth Congress (2016-2021) of Vietnam Real Estate Association
On the last October 15, Vietnam Real Estate Association has successfully organized its Fourth Congress at Vietnam National Convention Center, No. 57, Pham Hung street, with about 800 delegates from member organizations and guests.
The Congress was held to summarize and evaluate the results of the third term (2011 – 2016); to set out the orientation and tasks, and elect members for the Executive Committee and Standing Committee for the fourth term (2016 – 2021).
The Congress was honoured to receive Mr. Pham Hong Ha (Member of the Communist Party’s Central Committee, Minister of Construction), the leaders of ministries, sectors, localities and organizations, international delegations and delegates from central and Hanoi press.
The third term (2011 – 2016) of Vietnam Real Estate Association took place when the real estate market was in the midst of significant difficulties and complex, unpredictable fluctuations caused by the financial crisis. The crisis not only directly affected the chances of survival of many real estate enterprises, but also impacted the economy and the people’s life.
However, together with the relentless effort of the real estate community and timely intervention of the Government and State agencies, Vietnam Real Estate Association has made many positive contributions to enabling Vietnam real estate market get out of the crisis, recovering and developing sustainably and rapidly. For examples, the association contributed to the development of housing, especially social housing for people with low income, improved the operation, responsibility, business ethics, and competitiveness of Vietnam real estate market, and contributed to the brand development of the enterprises. The Association has been lending a hand to the state management agencies in developing and implementing policies and laws on real estate. The activities of the Association also helped Vietnam real estate market improve its quality and scale, and boost its international integration and cooperation.
In the third term, with its prestige and effort, the Association has not only expanded its number of members to over 3,000 (who are individuals and organizations working in real estate), but also established numerous member associations, branches and clubs; and it has attracted the participation of large enterprises such as Vingroup, FLC, Alphanam, and Thanh Do.
For the fourth term of Vietnam Real Estate Association, the Congress has elected 92 members into the Executive Committee and 5 members into the Inspection Committee. Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, former Deputy Minister of Construction, Chairman of the Association in the third term, has been continued to be elected for the same position for the fourth term. In the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bach, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AsiaInvest, was honoured to be elected into the Executive Committee of the fourth term (2016 – 2021)

On the occasion that the Vietnam Real Estate Associations Congress for the fourth term was successfully organized, AsiaInvest Group would like to send its congratulation to Vietnam Real Estate Association, and wish that the Executive Committee of the fourth term will lead the Association to a new height and continue supporting the sustainable development of Vietnam real estate market in the 2016–2021 term.
