Nha Trang receives TripAdvisor awards as top Asian destinations
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest
travel site, has named Nha Trang in its 10 Top destinations on the rise --
Asia.
"Vietnam is a top
destination of our travellers. Not only Nha Trang, Vietnam is also well-known
with Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City,” TripAdvisor representative Aaron
Hung said at the award ceremony held in Nha Trang earlier this
week.
"I and my wife did have
unforgettable Christmas and New Year holidays in Vietnam.”

Nha
Trang and Hue in central Viet Nam ranked eighth and 10th respectively in the
list, which praises Nha Trang for its beautiful sandy beaches, amusement parks,
mud baths, golf, the historic Po Ngar temple complex and a variety of hotels and
restaurants.
The travel site also
recommends delicious specialties of the town, including bun cha ca, a soup made
from sailfish and jellyfish.
According to the Nha Trang
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city received 4.15 million
visitors in 2015, including 974,000 foreigners. It has set itself a target of
4.5 million this year.
