International tourists to Khanh Hoa rises by 80% year-on-year

Khanh Hoa Province received more than 2.6 million tourists in the first half of 2017, increasing by 25% year-on-year and fulfilling 47.3% of the year’s target, according to statistics of the provincial Department of Tourism. The number of international tourists was nearly 1 million, rising by 80.4% year-on-year and fulfilling 55.8% of the year’s target.

Average stay time was about 4 days/guest. Average room occupation rate was about 68%. The total tourism revenue hit VND7,515 billion, increasing by 31% year-on-year and fulfilling 45.5% of the year’s target. Arrivals to tourist spots totaled over 9.7 million.
